American Kombat Alliance (spelled with a “K”, as in Mortal Kombat) will begin its run on UFC Fight Pass this Friday night in Bossier City, LA with AKA 13—the first of eight scheduled events this year, five in Bossier City, three in Baton Rouge, LA.
Coverage of the promotion’s maiden voyage on UFC Fight Pass begins ahead of the event’s main card with prelims live at 6:30 p.m. ET, 3:30 p.m. PT on the AKA’s Facebook page.
Main card action will immediately follow at 8 p.m. ET, 5 p.m. PT on Fight Pass, the UFC’s subscription-based streaming network from the Bossier Civic Center.
A live audience will be present for this event, with tickets for the show sold in tables of 10 for $30 per transaction.
Anyone in the Bossier City area who has purchased table space for this event has been advised that face masks are to be worn at all times while in the arena, save for when consuming food and drink, due to current coronavirus safeguards and social distancing regulations.
Highlighting the night on Fight Pass is the battle for the AKA Featherweight Championship in your main event of the evening on Friday.
Wright vs. Freeman:
Colin Wright (9-5) will take on Cody Freeman (5-3) in a five-round fight at five minutes per round, a contest between two Texas-based contenders at 145 lbs.
Heading into Friday night’s main event in Bossier City, Colin Wright is the taller combatant at 5-foot-10, compared to Cody Freeman at 5-foot-9.

Colin Wright has posted a record of 4-1 in his last five MMA appearances, most recently scoring a unanimous decision on Nov. 15, 2019 against Jesse Butler in Rite of Passage 10.
In the other corner, Cody Freeman has gone 4-1 himself during his last five MMA bouts, seeing a four-fight winning streak snapped last time out against Kyle Estrada via majority decision in LFA 73 on Sept. 3, 2018 on AXS TV.
