Just because the Ultimate Fighting Championship is dark this weekend, it doesn’t mean that there won’t be MMA on for you to watch this Saturday. Bellator MMA returns with another installment of its European Series on Saturday—this time originating from London, England.

In total, Bellator London will feature 18 mixed martial arts contests from the SSE Arena in the capital city of the United Kingdom and England. Notably, the card does not feature a single fight in the Light Heavyweight or Heavyweight ranks.

Action begins with the undercard this Saturday morning at 11:30 a.m. EST, 8:30 a.m. PST on the Bellator mobile app worldwide. The three-fight main card will be streamed early Saturday evening at 5 p.m. EST, 2 p.m. PST on the Bellator mobile app inside the United States. For our reading audience in England, Bellator London will be televised live this Saturday night at 10 p.m. London time on Viacom-owned Channel 5.

Bellator London features a three-fight main card this Saturday, highlighted by a Welterweight non-title main event between Michael “Venom” Page (15-1) and Giovanni Melillo (13-4).

Contender Comparison

Heading into the main event this Saturday, Michael Page is the taller contestant in the fight, standing 6-foot-3, four inches taller than Giovanni Melillo at 5-foot-11.

Page has gone 4-1 in his last five fights. Most recently, he scored a first-round knockout (flying knee) against Richard Kiely on Sept. 27 in Bellator 227/ Bellator Dublin in Dublin, Ireland in that night’s co-main event.

In the other corner, Melillo has posted a 3-2 mark in his last five MMA contests, including a unanimous decision victory against Will Chope in his most recent fight during Fight Clubbing 24 on May 4.

Saturday’s contest marks Giovanni Melillo’s Bellator MMA promotional debut.

The Tale of the Tape

Tapology shows that Michael Page owns a 77-inch reach heading into this fight, but no such information exists for Giovanni Melillo.

Prediction: Michael Page by first-round TKO.

Two other fights are on Saturday’s main card

Fabian Edwards (8-0) vs. Mike Shipman (13-2) [Middleweight, co-main event]

Terry Brazier (11-2) vs. Soren Bak (13-1) [Lightweight]
