On a brand new episode of BetOnline All Access, the guys took a closer look at the NBA Sunday Showcase between the Pelicans and Clippers. Drew Butler and Nick Bahe each gave out their picks for Sunday Night’s meeting between Western Conference Foes.

Both guys like the Clippers -5 in this one which makes sense for a multitude of reasons. The Clippers lost 3 straight to close out the first half of the season. Los Angeles was without Kawhi Leonard for two of those games but the close before the All-Star break was a disappointment.

If the Clippers are truly to be considered contenders in the West they need to come out of the All-Star Break hot and focused. Their’s no better team in the NBA to rediscover your offense against right now than the New Orleans Pelicans. If all the Clippers need is to see some open shots go in they will see a ton of them on Sunday Night.

I love the Clippers -5 in this game. I will take it one step further and take the over in this one as well. The Pelican’s defensive struggles are well documented. I can very well see the Clippers defensive effort lacking in this one as well fresh off the All-Star Break.

Give me the Clippers to cover and the over in this one.
