GAME RECAP AND ANALYSIS
The Florida Gators hoops team is ballin’. After putting the hurt on Gardner-Webb on Monday, the streak continues after a victory last night against the North Florida Ospreys. The No. 8 team in the country continues to dominate and make the statement that they deserve to climb the rankings.
Fueled by the heartbreak of the Elite Eight loss last year, Florida is back. Looking like they haven’t missed a beat, they look mighty impressive. Playing with a sense of unity, North Florida head coach Matthew Driscoll credits the team’s unselfishness for the victory.
The victory is anchored by Gator junior KeVaughn Allen, who is the team’s highest scorer for this game at 18 points. Other key players who helped balance the score include Keith Stone , the big man known as Egor Koulechov and DeAundre Ballard .
The Gator hoops team is looking mighty fine two games into the season. Now sitting at 2-0, they look to continue the march back to the NCAA tournament. While yes, it’s way too soon to talk about that, this team is fueled by the loss last season against South Carolina.
