There’s still another mixed martial arts show talking place this Friday night.

While Ohio Combat League and INVICTA Fighting Championships are both in action and Combate Americas is in “best-of” mode on AXS TV, one of the former tenants of the AXS TV Fights programming block will also be in action on Friday.

Legacy Fighting Alliance returns to UFC Fight Pass after a week’s hiatus with LFA 83 from Dallas’ The Bomb Factory (and before any of you get concerned, this is the name of a concert venue, not an actual factory in North Texas.)

Coverage begins live on UFC Fight Pass at 9 p.m. EST, 6 p.m. PST this Friday night.

In total, LFA 83 features 11 fights and a seven-fight main card.

Highlighting the Friday night show is a non-title fight in the LFA Featherweight division as Damon Jackson (16-3-1) will meet Mauro Chaulet (14-6) to close out the event.

Contender Comparison:

Heading into the Friday night main event, Damon Jackson is the taller contestant at 5-foot-11, four inches taller than Mauro Chaulet’s 5-foot-7 frame.

How they got here:

Damon Jackson has posted a 4-1 record in his last five fights.

Last time out, he lost to Movlid Khaybulaev (first-round knockout- jumping knee) in PFL 2 last May to end a four-fight losing streak.

In the other corner, Mauro Chaulet has gone 3-2 in his last five contests, entering this main event on a three-fight winning streak.

Most recently, he scored a split decision victory against Samson Phommabout during LFA 75 on AXS TV on Sept. 6 last year, the penultimate AXS TV Fights edition of LFA coverage on the network.

The Tale of the Tape:

Tapology shows that Damon Jackson has a two-inch reach advantage (73 inches to 71 inches) over Mauro Chaulet heading into this contest.

Prediction: Damon Jackson by unanimous decision.

Other fights on Friday night’s main card include:

Justin Patterson (11-5) vs. Matt Dixon (8-0) [Welterweight co-main event]

Vernon Lewis (7-4) vs. Austen Lane (6-2) [Heavyweight]

Victor Altamirano (6-1) vs. Chris Ocon (4-1) [Flyweight]

Hailey Cowan (4-1) vs. Brittney Cloudy (2-1) [Women’s Bantamweight]

Fernie Garcia (6-1) vs. Jay Viola (3-1) [Bantamweight]

Elijah Johns (5-1) vs. Justin Overton (8-4) [Featherweight]
