As we enter another week in the college football season, head over to BetOnline to see the lines on each game this weekend. As the first kickoffs draw near, we thought to take a look the most popular bets going into the weekend.

72% of the bet on Clemson -5.5

As #2 Clemson gears up to take on #4 Notre Dame, 72% of the money is coming in on the Tigers to cover a 5.5 point spread. The biggest liability of the week for sure as the Tigers will be without Heisman winner Trevor Lawrence.

While Notre Dame’s ability to completely no show big games may overpower the loss of Trevor Lawrence, this is still a bit of a risk.

Clemson fell behind big last week against Boston College, but used a huge second half surge to steal the game in the fourth quarter.

Notre Dame is less likely to allow the game to slip away from them like BC did the week prior.

We should have ourselves a football game on Saturday night.

69% of the bet on Liberty +15.5

My favorite line of the weekend as 6-0 Liberty enters Saturday’s match up against 4-2 Virginia Tech as 15.5 point dogs.

Liberty’s offense is explosive, and the middle of the ACC hasn’t really shown much to start this season.

Virginia Tech being favored by 15.5 in this game is insane.

Taking Liberty +15.5 is a no brainer. Bettors seem to be aware of this judging that it’s getting 69% of money on this game. Taking the Liberty money line isn’t the worst idea in the world either.
