The second UFC Fight Night of 2019 is this Saturday night from Fortaleza, Brazil. UFC Fortaleza can be viewed in its entirety on ESPN+.

Undercard action from Brazil begins at 5 p.m. EST, 2 p.m. PST in English and Spanish on the platform, with the main card at 8 p.m. EST, 5 p.m. PST.

Highlighting the Saturday evening card is a main event rematch in the Bantamweight division. No. 3 contender Raphael Assuncao (27-5) will battle No. 4 contender Marlon Moraes in a five-round contest. Both fighters are coming off wins in their last UFC appearance.

Previously, the two met in UFC 212’s undercard for the featured prelim on FS1 on June 2, 2017, from Rio de Janeiro. That evening, Assuncao scored a victory by decision in a fight where neither contender scored a knockdown.

Contender Comparison:

Moraes is the taller contender in this fight by one inch, standing 5-foot-6, with Assuncao standing 5-foot-5.

Assuncao has posted a 4-1 record in his last five UFC appearances, winning last time out by decision vs. Rob Font in UFC 226 on July 7.

In the other corner, Moraes has posted a 3-1 record in his last four UFC appearances, his most recent a first-round knockout of Jimmie Rivera in UFC Fight Night Utica on June 1 during the headliner on FS1. That night, Moraes only needed to connect on 14 strikes out of 18 strikes thrown to win the fight.

The Tale of the Tape:

Moraes has a half-inch reach advantage on Assuncao (67 inches to 66.5 inches), with Assuncao holding a 1 ½-inch reach advantage in leg reach (38.5 inches to 37 inches) on Moraes heading into Saturday’s main event.

Prediction: Moraes by first-round KO.
