The University of Wisconsin and Notre Dame University jointly announced a 2-game football series that will take place in 2020 and 2021, at a press conference in Chicago Monday.

Interestingly, the games will take place October 3, 2020 at Lambeau Field and September 25, 2021 at Soldier Field, as apposed to week one.

Lambeau Field is set to host its second major college football game with Wisconsin-Notre Dame. This announcement makes considerable sense for Lambeau as its first major college football game in 2016, Wisconsin-LSU, was a resounding success.

This series will surely excite both fan and alumni bases across the Midwest and across the country. As two of the most prominent institutions and athletic programs in the region, these games seem set to be a major hit for everyone associated with the two teams.

The Badgers are by far my favorite team but I also root for the Milwaukee Bucks and Brewers. I am also a pretty big soccer fan. I watch USA, Ireland and Everton intently and passionately.
